| Este artigo analisa o processo de implantação da agricultura orgânica em assentamentos de reforma agrária, ainda recente no Brasil, e que trouxe consigo uma rápida transformação para a agricultura familiar. | In the discussion of agrarian reform in Brazil, a central concern is the competitiveness of farms on land settlements. This comparative study between milk producers on land settlement schemes and outside aims to enhance understanding of the settlers’ technical and economical potential. The analysis is based on data collected from 39 milk producers from the Rio das Pedras settlement and 42 milk producers located in the bordering municipalities of Uberlândia and Monte Alegre, State of Minas Gerais. Considering the variety of models available, it is important to know their performance in relation to soil data and environmental variables involved in soil mapping. | Agrarian reform in Moldova, as in all former Soviet republics, involved the transfer of land and assets of collective farms in private possession, and also restructuring of the last. It was supposed that the given directions of reforms will provide, in shortest terms, recovery of agriculture and will serve as the catalyst for serious transformations of rural areas. | Este artigo faz uma caracterização dos assentamentos de reforma agrária mato-grossenses. A primeira parte do trabalho consiste em apresentar as raízes históricas do problema da concentração de terras, ou seja, um breve resumo da história dos projetos de colonização, da posse da terra através das leis que favoreceram os grandes latifúndios que caracterizam a agropecuária estadual até os dias atuais. O DRD faz parte do método proposto pelo projeto "Adaptação e utilização de dispositivo metodológico participativo para apoiar o desenvolvimento sustentável de assentamentos de reforma agrária". | Diante do atual cenário agrícola, o presente trabalho procede uma reflexão sobre a realidade da reforma agrária em São Paulo, com base em acúmulos e observações do projeto “Da microbacia ao agricultor familiar: uma releitura do agroecossistema”, conduzido em assentamentos da região central do Estado.
